There are so many neat Web 2.0 sites out there for everyone to use for free, it's unbelievable!

My students are always asking me, "When are we ever going to have to use this math?" I always try to relate what we're learning to places they might use it in the real world, but to help them out with this further, I was thinking about putting them into groups and having them make a video about how they use math, how people that they know use math in their jobs, etc. They could use the site to help them do this. The only problem I've found with some of the movie editing sites is that they have some inappropriate sample videos at times. To alleviate this problem, I might have them use with our Macs at school.

Review of JayCut:
I found this site to be very basic and user friendly. It has several short instructional videos on "How to" add transitions, music, etc. to your movie. This was very helpful and easy to understand. The only thing I didn't like about this site was that you couldn't add words on your video at all. Other than that, it was great!
